Requirements: 1) Films completed after: 31st December 2022 (from January 2023) 2) Maximum duration: 50 minutes 3) Country of production: All countries 4) Screening format: DCP and ProRes, or H264 5) Accepted genres: Animation (all genres and techniques)
Other criteria:
6) Language & Subtitles: The screening versions of films with dialogues or on-screen text in a language other than French should come with a separate (un-etched) subtitle file. If French or English subtitles are not available, please send us a dialogue list in English with the time code. More info regarding subtitling is available here: www.pro.animatou.com/subtitling 7) Selection announcement: Mid-July, by email via the Short Film Depot platform. Only selected films will be contacted individually.

SWISS ANIMATION
|
The official origin of the film is determined by the production company or entity. Animatou only requires that the director or one of the (co-)production entities be a Swiss national or based in Switzerland for a film to qualify to participate in the Swiss Competition.
